I have a 1 month old son with Down syndrome and I have been trying to read everything I can get my hands on! I was particularly interested in a paper I read of yours on the "Myths of Down syndrome" I have been successfully breast feeding my son and have used the feeding technique described in this article but I do believe he has a high palatal arch...what if anything can I do to help this? I too have not found any therapist locally that have your tools. Can you point me in the right direction of what to purchase/do to help? Thanks so much.Robinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1852972597308488668.post-62655406082407445292010-08-06T11:05:26.992-07:002010-08-06T11:05:26.992-07:00Hi,

I have watched a lot of your videos, especially the ones on Down syndrome, as my daughter is 16 months with Ds. My only confusion has been the ages to start each therapy. I am in Alaska and it is hard for me to get to your therapists, and it seems like I know more about Talk Tools than any of the speech pathologists locally. From the videos it seems like horns and straw therapy are for older kids. I just got my daughter to use the honey bear and am using bite tools too. How do I know when she is ready for horn or straw therapy? Thanks,<br />AngieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
